How to get to the IEC ?
IBM International Education Centre
The IEC is situated 15 kilometers South-east of Brussels. You should be aware that Belgium is bilingual: "La Hulpe" is named "Terhulpen" in the Flemish part of the country.
You may use the IEC parking facilities, which are located on the right before reaching the building. There are four dedicated parking slots for handicapped people on the right of the main entrance.

Get out either at Brussels North (Nord) or preferably at Brussels South (Midi) and take a taxi to the IBM International Education Centre. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Cost which is usually around 30 EUR should include taxes and tip.
The IBM Centre offers a daily free bus shuttle service from/to Central Station: From Gare Centrale to IBM La Hulpe at 08:30 hrs From IBM La HulpetoGare Centrale 16.40 hrs SERENATE offers one free bus to Brussels South station in 18 September: From IBM La Hulpe to Gare Midi at 15.45 hrs
* If none of the above options is convenient for you, we suggest you take a train to the airport and from there one of the free busses that SERENATE is offering in 17 September.
The distance between the Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) and La Hulpe is approximately 20 kms and takes about 30 min.
There is a bus shuttle from the airport to the IEC at given times (see below). Once you passed both the customs and the double door you reach to the main lobby of the airport. A large bus station is located on the ground floor, beneath the ARRIVALS Hall. It can be reached by escalators and lifts through the Diamond area: the bus to the IEC is there. It is usually blue, with the name "Autocars de Genval" and with an IEC sign on the front windshield. The sign will be saying SERENATE Workshop. The schedule is as follows:
17 September from Zaventem to La Hulpe at: 08.30 hrs, 09.45 hrs, 11.00 hrs and 12.15 hrs
18 September from La Hulpe to Zaventem at: 15.45 hrs and 16.15 hrs
* Fridays (only) the IBM Centre offers a bus to the airport at 12.30 hrs and 14.00 hrs, it costs 5 euros.
If you drive from the airport, follow Ring 0 (Ring Est), E411 direction Namen/Namur. Reaching the E411, take the tunnel (E19), direction Waterloo. Exit at the sign Terhulpen, Genval. After Exit, pass under railway and turn left at sign Terhulpen.
